Worked with Prevention and Wellness programs to execute several outside funded programs, i.e., TRUST, Tobacco Prevention Workshops, EAP projects, Senior Emotional Outreach Health Program, and cultural sensitive programming. These programs focused on recovery processes, reducing suicides in the elderly populations, enhancing the quality of life of youths subjected to substance abuse, and smoking cessation. Relied upon to redefine and create materials for presentation. Acted as a co-presenter on multiple topics, i.e., HIV/AIDS prevention antidotes, sexual transition issues, assessing cultural competencies, and reducing behavioral issues in youths. Co-facilitated group sessions with Prevention and Wellness operatives. Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Department of Public Health sponsored all programs in part or completely.
Life Haven,
Program designer and facilitator for community project entitled "Take Back Your Life." A series of customized workshops for women in exposed to multiple situational factors. Program focused on recovery processes to reduce the effects of drugs, sexual, and alcohol abuse while preparing them to return to their normal lives after experiencing a period of homelessness. Sponsored by Psi Chi, Life Haven, and Channeled Reflections.

Moderator for an ongoing dialogue about quality of life issues for residents in the State of
Neighbor-2-Neighbor Unity Dialogues,
Recognized and respected authority and speaker on cultural sensitivity issues that deal with social conditioning and conceptions. Established a two-city community program that created focus groups, workshops, and training seminars. The program design ran for a full fiscal calendar year. The objectives were to reduce perceptions of social and physical barriers, crisis intervention, and project management.
Sister with Voices, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Grassroots organization that ran 12 monthly support groups for alcohol and other drug abuse, behavior health, and crisis intervention/management for women residing in the Milwaukee metropolitan area.
UJIMA,
Community-based operation that ran annual support groups for behavior health, alcohol and other drug abuse, and crisis intervention and management. Created and facilitated focus groups for AIDS research on men who have sex with men.
